Waving the White Flag & March in Review

Well, Kenzer and I are officially waving the white flag. We surrender. When her pediatrician’s office opens this morning we’re heading in for an appointment.

Yesterday she spent the day resting, drinking fluids, drawing, and torturing her old barbies by drawing bathing suits on them with Sharpies.

She kept her fever at bay all day, and things were looking up. But at 2:00am she came and got me and sure enough the pesky fever was back. Soooo, we are at home again today and headed to the doc for some industrial strength medicine. I hope she gets well soon. Yesterday was gorgeous and today is supposed to be as well. I think some good old sunshine would do both of us some good!

With her congestion as bad as it is, I’m thinking it would be wise to skip soccer practice this week, and her first game on Saturday is going to have to be played by ear.

Send us some good vibes friends!

March In Review:

It’s completely clique to say, but I’m going to anyway—I have NO CLUE where this month has gone. Before we know it, summer will be here!

This month was a good one in so many ways. We’ve made tons of progress on this house:

We were able to get away for a family vacation to celebrate my 6th annual 29th birthday. 😉

I shared some tips with you guys about how to handle the bloat aftermath from said vacation.

And I had the HONOR and PRIVLIGE of being able to guest post for the one and only Carla Birnberg about change (we have alot coming!) and how we handle it!

Speaking of change, I’m hoping that April brings about quite a bit of it. I’m slowly getting the townhouse ready to be rented out. We’re in the midst of furniture shopping for the new house, and I’m hoping we’re starting to move in by the end of the month. Cross your fingers the occupancy inspection goes well!

I’m looking forward to Kenzer being on the mend with this cold, and this weekend’s Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run.

What was the highlight of your March? What are you looking forward to the most in April?
