A Day in the Life {In Pictures}

I’ve had this post hanging out in my drafts for a little while now. I think I first saw the idea of a post like this come up on BlogHer in one of their e-mails about post ideas.

Out in the blogosphere, they have gained in popularity, and last week I saw one of my most favorite bloggers post her “day in the life”, I loved it so much, I knew I was ready to share mine:

I’ve been asked on more than one occasion “how do you do it?”—work full time, workout, raise a child, keep the house in order, etc. etc. So I thought the idea of a day in the life post would be fun! Two weeks ago, I picked a day, and took a picture each hour or so of what I was doing at that moment, and thought I’d share it with you today:

Make dinner

7:00 pm – 9:00pm –

I don’t have a picture, but in that time we have dinner, clean up, chat about our day. I check homework. Get comfy in our sweaties and cuddle. Watch a little “boob tube”, etc.

And then, it’s time for bed:

We head to bed and get ready to get up and do it all over again the next day. :)

  2. You are an awesome power mom! I love these posts! I also love that you get up every morning to workout! I wish CrossFit had a 5am class everyday of the week. I would so go if it was the same every day!

  3. I’m an early riser too. Although since the time change it’s been a little later than usual but I’m getting back on track.

  4. Thanks for the love :)

    I really miss my 5 a.m.s! Ever since the time change I haven’t been back to my normal wake-up time. Working from home most days means its super early to ‘sleep in’ until 6:30-7. I’m going to reset my internal clock next week!

    • Honestly– even if I don’t go to the gym I try to get up early just to enjoy the way the house is all quiet, and the sky is still dark, etc. I drink my coffee, read blogs, etc. Oh it’s so so nice! Takes me back to my early 20’s when I had the house alllllllll to myself. :)
